Corona test station in Emmingen-Liptingen und Engen
Free citizen testing
With the new testing regulation, testing capacities will be even more targeted since June 30, 2022. Citizens will continue to be entitled to free citizenship tests under certain conditions. For this, the person to be tested must show identification at the place of testing and present appropriate proof such as an ID card, maternity passport, certificate or medical certificate.
Citizen test for 3 Euro co-payment
It also makes sense to get tested to break chains of infection at indoor events, after high-risk contacts, when the Corona warning app displays a red warning, or to protect vulnerable groups. Those who need such a test will continue to be supported by the state. In the future, however, they will have to pay a contribution of 3 euros.

Wearing masks is only one part of a comprehensive protection concept with which we are working together to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
Therefore, the following also applies: keep your distance, pay attention to hygiene and ventilate.
- Even with a mask, the safety distance of at least 1.50 m from other people recommended by the RKI should be maintained.
- The mask must fit well and sit over the mouth, nose and cheeks. The edges of the mask should fit snugly so that as little air as possible is breathed past the mask.
- A soaked mask should be removed and changed.
When putting on and taking off the mask, it should be grasped only by the straps of the mask, if possible.
- Before putting on and after taking off the mask, the hands should be washed thoroughly (at least 20 to 30 seconds with soap) in compliance with the general hygiene rules.
